Role Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Rust Developer to join our highly motivated team on a contract, remote basis. As a Rust Developer at Pipe Network, you will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining high-performance distributed systems using the Rust programming language. You will work on advanced blockchain protocols, decentralized applications (dApps), and cryptographic systems that push the boundaries of what decentralized networks can achieve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Distributed Systems: Build and maintain robust, high-performance distributed systems using Rust to support decentralized applications and protocols.

• Blockchain Protocol Development: Contribute to the development and improvement of blockchain protocols, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency across Pipe Network.

• Cryptographic System Implementation: Work with cryptographic systems, ensuring their security and performance across our decentralized infrastructure.

• Testing and Debugging: Write and maintain tests to ensure the reliability and security of your code, as well as troubleshoot and optimize performance when needed.

• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other team members in a remote environment to contribute to project planning, code reviews, and ongoing technical discussions.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Rust programming language.

• Experience in developing high-performance distributed systems.

• Knowledge of blockchain protocols and decentralized applications (dApps).

• Solid understanding of cryptographic systems and their implementation.

• Experience with network programming and concurrency in a distributed environment.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.

• Ability to work both independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the Solana blockchain or similar ecosystems.

• Experience with Web3 technologies, decentralized storage systems, and peer-to-peer networking.
